Hope in Focus to be Represented at World’s Largest Meeting of Eye and Vision Researchers

 In News

Hope in Focus is pleased to announce our Director of Outreach and Development Courtney Coates will be attending the largest meeting of eye and vision researchers in the world.

The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, known as ARVO, hosts its annual meeting April 23-27, 2023, in New Orleans. The gathering is expected to draw more than 11,000 people from 75 countries.

ARVO’s 2023 annual meeting is the premiere gathering for eye and vision scientists at all career stages, students, and those in affiliated fields to share the latest research findings and collaborate on innovative solutions.

This year’s theme is “The Beauty of Diversity in Science and Nature,” with meeting organizers adding: “Diversity is a hallmark of nature and has provided us with a beautiful natural world. Likewise, there is mechanistic diversity in ocular disease, and we, as vision scientists, are a diverse group with multiple backgrounds and perspectives.”

Courtney will be on site to hear the latest research, network with people in the research and biotech communities, and engage in purposeful conversations with partners in advocacy, industry, and research. Will you be at ARVO? Drop Courtney a note at courtney@hopeinfocus.org to find some time to meet.
